About Majka Pizzeria

Majka Pizzeria is a pizza restaurant in Sacramento, California. It is listed at 1704 15th St, Sacramento, CA 95814, which places it among the local businesses of Sacramento that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. The most common schedule is 12–8 pm. It is closed on Monday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Majka Pizzeria at (916) 572-9316; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, majkabakes.com.

Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 304 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pizza restaurants in Sacramento.

Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Sacramento is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Pepperoni: the salami was beyond sour. Disappointing, given their information on their website stating the source their materials I was a hit surprised. It seemed like any supermarket sour pepperoni salami.. has nothing to do with Italian or any type of recipe. Cheese: we thankfully ordered a half so we didn't have to eat the sour pepperoni pizza. It was okay. However, is it worth over ~30$ .. no. It was okay. I make better one at home. Overall, I believe it's a hyped up place with oily, mediocre and overpriced pizza. The wine selection is very nice. I would only come back for the wine. Please do not waste your money on the food - I mean it in a nice way. Service: you wait in line, honesty.. I didn't mind that. It is a bit chaotic, but in a charming way. But that falls apart when you look at the prices. You can go to a real Michelin Star restaurant and get cheaper pizza.. honestly kind of embarrassing.. Overall: not it's not deserving to be on Micheline guide,.. let alone have the prices it has.. I'm sad, cause the ambiance had potential. Greasy and sour is how I would describe the food..:(

THE WORST pizza I’ve ever had in my life. I couldn’t even finish one slice. It was NOT CRISPY whatsoever it was drenched in oil. The box was leaking oil. They put no cheese (so no cheese pull) or sauce it was literally just bread covered in pepperoni drenched in oil. Like I could legit pick up a bottle of oil and chug it and it would be like eating a slice of that pizza. The slices were cut all crazy too lol. I paid $35. It was so terrible I literally went back and got a refund. I couldn’t even eat one slice. Go get a pizza from little Cesar’s lol even that is better than this place. The workers were rude too. If you’re not a pretty girl that they can’t flirt with, they won’t treat you like a human being when ordering. They were very short and cold with my boyfriend when he ordered just a simple pepperoni pizza but when attractive girls came in to order seconds later they were chatting it up flirting the entire vibe changed. I don’t respect it. I called Majka to tell them about how greasy the pizza was not expecting a refund or anything but the guy offered me a refund immediately so I said yes and before I could even confirm if it was a refund going back to my card or if I had to

Came here on a Wednesday evening for my last dinner in town. I knew this place was going to be good when I saw the line out the door. I came here by myself and wanted to try a slice of pizza, but however by the time I got to the front of the line they were out of slices for the night. I ended up ordering salad and the tagliatelle ragu. I mentioned to the cashier I was by myself and couldn’t eat a whole pizza and was hoping for a slice on my last night. He mentioned if they ended up making another pizza to sell slices he would try to get me one, but they were busy rest of evening so no promises. Totally understandable as they were pumping out pizzas like crazy for the rest of the busy night. I sat at the bar and watched the team make food. The side salad was amazing, I’ve never had hazelnuts in salad before and definitely want to incorporate it at home now. Pasta was the perfect portion for me, it was cooked perfectly and ragu was 🀌🏻 During the meal, they were able to surprise me with a slice of pizza. It was so sweet of them to make another pizza despite the amount of orders. It honestly made me whole trip. They told me I couldn’t leave Sacramento without trying their pizza πŸ₯Ή Highl

My favorite place in Sacramento! The food is amazing every time. It’s a different menu every week and every time we think it’s the best lol. Service is the best of the best and the atmosphere is a vibe. Our favorite thing to do is go with another couple and order everything on the menu. Plus a wine pairing of course. It’ll be your best meal ever.

Where do I start on this one? I went on a Saturday evening at around 7:00 p.m. I was only second in line behind a small group of four; it still took over 10 minutes for my order to be taken. In the meantime, the line grew out the door to the street. The dining area is super cramped; while standing in line, I kept having to move over for people to get by, and it was hotter than Hades in there. Once I placed my order, I waited outside (because it was cooler and less cramped) for another half hour before I received my order. There were at least eight employees, so I'm not sure why the delay. In the meantime, I observed that the food was served to the customers by those making the food. Why would you not have a server dedicated to that service? Also, I noticed that at least two of the employees were drinking alcohol while working. There is no big sign for this pizza shop, only a small lighted sign on the door, so you need to be purposely looking for this place. The pizza was good but not worth $32 for a 14 inch. I won't be going back.
